I'm Off

Well, that's me all packed and getting ready to head off on my hols.  I am going to Devon to see my Mum and Stepdad and my youngest daughter and her family.  The last time I saw her youngest he was just four month';s old, that was a year ago so I am going to see a big change in him.  I am also heading to the big craft event at Westpoint in Exeter with Joanna, she is into cardmaking and crafting too, so am really looking forward to that.

I do hope Chrissie and Mandi manage to reach their target of 1000 posts.
Take care everyone and I will see you all again in two weeks

Less is More No.3

Good Morning, this is going to be my last card before heading off on holiday tomorrow. It is my third entry into this week's Less is More Challenge - Anything goes. A really quick and very simple one. As usual, I don't know the make of the stamps as I threw the packaging away. Stamped with Brilliance Pearlescent Lavender and I have added a couple of gems to the centre of the snowflakes.  Looks like I might be No.300 - I do hope you make it.

Black and Blue

Good Afternoon from a gloriously sunny Shetland, it is absolutely beautiful got all the doors and windows open.  I also had a problem taking the pic of my card because it is so bright.  My card is for this week's CD Sunday Challenge - Black and Blue.  The backing paper is from Debbi Moore's Art Deco Christmas cd from last year, the image is from Chocolate Baroque, stamped with archival blank ink onto a piece of card in my white scrap box.  The flower is from my stash and I cut the swirl out from an offcut of blue card.

I am also entering my card into Jules' Crafty Snippet Challenge and Ooh La La Creations - Punches or DieCuts

I hope you like my card and many thanks for your visit.

Less is More No.2

Good Evening, I am posting a second card tonight for the Less is More Challenge - Anything Goes and the ladies are hoping to get 1000 posts.  I probably won't manage another as I am off on my hols on Wednesday for a couple of weeks.  The image is Chocolate Baroque (Elusive Images) stamped with Versamark and embossed with Judikins Gold Twinkle embossing powder.  The sentiment is Clarity embosed with the same ep. The gold beads are from my stash

Thanks for visiting today and I hope you like my card.

Anything Goes

Good Morning, my card today is for this week's challenge over at Less is More - Week 33, 1000 Challenge - Anything Goes.  I have used a Creative Expressions Christmas Tree stamped with Stazon Forest Green, I used a Spectrum Noir pen to add some shadow and then glittered with  a glue pen and crystal glitter.  The sentiment is from a Christmas selection by Woodware, I bought these stamps last year and never used them. The matting card and gems are from my stash

I am also entering my card into Crafyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge - Glitter. My glitter doesn't show up very well, but it is there

Noel

Good Afternoon, my card to share today is for the Bah Humbug Challenge - Flourishes/Swirls.  As you can see I have made a black and white card, the embossing folder is from Crafts Too, I have absolutely no idea which cd the backing paper came from. I have a whole pile of papers that I have printed off various cds at one time or another and I don't keep a record of  what I print.  Bit annoyed with myself cos I really like this paper and don't know where to start looking for it, especially as this is a really easy production line card.  I can tell you that it was printed onto matching Stardream paper.  For once I haven't used any mirror card, the matting is just plain old black cardstock.

I hope you like my card and please leave a comment, cos I love reading them

Drummer Girl

Good Morning, my card to share today is for Sketch119 over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  The image is from Sandra Dry Digis (she has closed down now) coloured with a mixture of Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Copics, the diamond backing paper is CuddlyBuddly, the lighter backing paper is from Sharon Duncan Embossibilties, which I took into Craft Artis to match the colours.  It has got music notes all over it but they don't show up in the pic, finished off with Card Candy and a flower from my stash

Many thank for taking the time to visit

Carol Singing

Good Morning, I have won two challenges over the last couple of days,  Digital Tuesday and Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  To say that I am thrilled would be an understatement, thank you so much to both challenges.

On to my card it is for this week's Digital Tuesday Challenge - Celebrate the Season.  As you can see I have chosen Christmas  The image is a precoloured digi stamp from Cuddly Buddly, the backing paper is also from Cuddly Buddly, I have used Papermania shimmer card for the corners and matting. The ribbon is from my stash.  By having the digi stamp precoloured it's an easy production line card, so made another five like it yesterday.

I am also entering my card into this weeks My Time To Craft Challenge - A Kaliedoscope Of Colour.

Many thanks for taking the time to visit

Diamonds and Lace

Good Morning, it's dull and wet here in the Northern Isles this morning.  My card to share today is for this week's challenge at Sketch and Stash, this fortnight we have a free choice of sketch from previous challenges.
I have choses Sketch No.55.
The image is from Debbi Moore's Diamonds and Lace cd, as is the top  backing paper. I have absolutely no idea where the bottom backing paper came from, I found it in a stash of printed papers so I am not sure if it's a digi paper or from a cd.  The lace was cream until I attacked it with a red Promarker, the sentiment is computer generated and the ribbon slider is from Wild Orchid.

My new and neglected stash could be either of these elements:   The image - this is the first time I have used this cd and have had it for well over two months lol.
The lace, my neighbour gave me this over a year ago and this is the first time I have used it.

M is for Motor Racing.

Good Morning, my card to share today is for this week's CD Sunday Challenge - Alphabets - M.  My M stands for Motor Racing.  The image is from Joanna Sheen's Nostalgia CD, which I took into Craft Artist and turned  into black and white.  The backing paper is from Cuddly Buddly, computer generated sentiment and Card Candy to finish off.  Sorry it's not a very good pic, but I have already given this card to my customer so can't take another.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.

Seeing Double

Good Afternoon, my card to share today is for this weeks Less is More - A One Layer Card - Seeing Double.  I have made two cards and both of them after many trials and tribulations that I won't bore you with, needless to say I now have lots of white card for stamping on!!  Both of these do have faults, but I am not wasting any more card today.  I am not totally happy with the words on the first card, and I discovered an inky mark on the second after I took the pic.  The bauble images are from Papermania, I coloured the first one with a Flexmarker and the second one with a Promarker.

I didn't get the stamp in the right position for the second one so coloured a piece of white ribbon with the same Promarker to balance the card.  It also hasn't got a sentiment because my printer has started throwing up inky marks for some reason or other, so that wasted a bit more card.

I hope you like my card and many thanks for visiting

Another one for the box.

Good Morning, my card to share today is for this weeks challenge over at Bah Humbug - Paper Weaving.  I have used offcuts of Cuddly Buddly papers for the weaving.  The bauble image is from Papermania stamped and embossed with silver embossing powder.  Everything on my card comes from my stash, the ribbon was coloured with a Promarker.  Just realised the ribbon is a bit squint.

Jules Crafy Snippets Challenge - everything on my card came from my snippets boxes,  by the skin of my teeth this week.
Crafty Ann's Challenge Blog - Make Yourself  Uncomfortable.  I have never done paper weaving before because I thought it would be too fiddly, it was a bit lol

Thanks for visiting.

White Christmas

Good Afternoon, my card to share today is for Rainbow Lady's challenge this week which is Using Acetate with a Christmas Theme.  I printed the image from Joanna Sheen's Thomas Kincade Christmas cd onto acetate and then attached it to some white card using brads, I used my glue pen and glitter to add a bit of sparkle in places.  The backing paper is from the Artylicious Season's Greetings cd.  The ribbon, mirri card and gems all come from my stash and the sentiment is computer generated

I hope you like my card and many thanks for stopping by

Emma and a Snowman

Good Afternoon, my card to share today is for this week's sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.   I have used a pre-coloured image from Fred She Said, the backing paper and flower are also from FSS.  The Cuttlebugged snowflake card is Coredinations and the ribbon is from my stash. I have glittered the centre of the flower, but it doesn't show up and looks like a big blob of glue, sorry about that

I hope you like my card and thank you for taking the time to visit.

Waiting for Santa

Good Morning, my card to share today is for the challenge at Digital Tuesday - Fariy Wishes.  The image is from Charmed Cards - Charming Christmas Waiting for Santa, coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers.  The backing paper is from a fastly diminishing Rose Tinted Christmas from DCWV, the ones that are left  now are mostly the ones I don't like very much.  That's why I am a great fan of digi papers, you never run out of a favourite.  The centre strip is Papermania Shimmer card, the ribbon is from my stash, left over from some wedding stationery I made last year.  I haven't put a sentiment on my card yet, because I think it will be a personalised family member one but not sure who yet.

I am also entering my card in this week's Papertake Weekly Challenge - Anything goes with the optional of a
shaped card, never managed that bit sorry.
I hope you like my card and many thanks for stopping by.

Inspired by Peacocks

Good Morning, my card to share today is for this week's CD Sunday Challenge - Inspired by Peacocks.  I decided to wander through Joanna Sheen's Enchanted Dreams and came upon a few peacock images to play with.  As you can see, I haven't gone with an obvious peacock image or colour.  I fell in love with this image and it does have a couple of peacock feathers on it. Then I went through the embellishment section of this cd and found the fairy riding on the back of a peacock butterfly, I used Versamark and clear embossing powder to give it a gloss finish. The backing paper is from Debbi Moore's Fairyland cd, I had a piece of this left over from another project and thought that I had splattered some ink on it and put it on my craft table for scrap paper: only to find that the little marks are actually supposed to be there.  The gems are from my stash and the sentiment computer generated.

Thank you very much for visiting today and for any comments you might wish to make

Anniversary Card

Good Morning, my card to share today is for the new challenge over at Ooh La La Creations - Anniversary.  I am dead chuffed at the topic because in my cards folder I have pics of  five Wedding Anniversary cards that have never been on my blog.  This is the one I have chosen

The image and backing paper are from Debbi Moore's The Splendour of Regency, the gems flower and embossed card are all from my stash, the sentiment was Computer Generated.

Christmas Trees

Good Morning, my card for today is for this week's LIM Challenge - A colour challenge: Metalic.  The image and text are both Clarity stamps inked with Versamark and embossed with gold glitter ep then matted onto some gold mirror board. The embossed panel is a Cuttlebug folder that I bought last year and never got around to using - sound familiar lol. The little specks on the image are glitter and and I now see that I didn't put enough ep on the 'C' will have to get my Versamark pen out and rectify that.

I am also entering my card into CraftyAnn'sChallengeBlog -White on White with a coloured image.  I have cheated slightly by using the mirror board to frame the image.

Many thanks for visiting my blog today and for any comments you may wish to make.  They really make my day.

Coffee Break

Good Morning, was on a roll yesterday and managed to get some orders finished off.  Then late on my eldest, who is a preschool manager, rang and asked me to make a card for a co-worker.  They are colour coded in the preschool and Lisa is keyworker for the green group.  Think I've managed that lol, then again it is my favourite colour, so I enjoyed making it.

I am entering it into this weeks Promarker Challenge - Anything Goes.  The image is from Charmed Cards, I have coloured with my Promarkers and I also used a couple of the new Flex Markers, they are lovey to use.  The bp is Cuddly Buddly, the punched strip is from CraftyAnn and the flowers from Wild Orchid, The sentiment is computer generated and the ribbon from my stash.

Joy to the World

Good Afternoon, my card to share today is for this week's Bah Humbug Challenge - Christmas Sentiments/Text.  I have used Clarity Stamps by Barbara Grey, inked with Versamark and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer Gold ep. I used a Kaleidacolor ink pad and my brayer to colour the inside of the 'O', I think I need a lot more practice with my brayer.  The base card and Cuttlebugged card are Stardream and I stamped the the image  onto Clarity Silk Finish Card.  The blue satin ribbon is from Carnmeal Cottage.

I am also entering my card into Rainbow Lady's Challenge - Let's Emboss It,

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today
